When we attended the College Planning of Greater Long Beach Workshop, we knew it was different than other seminars we had attended before that simply told us how to fill out the dreaded FAFSA and when to do it. After an hour of an informative session, we chose to take him up on his generous offer of meeting with us to discuss our specific college readiness and needs. Following that meeting we decided to hire Skip’s company to help us through the college funding process. They gave us tips and techniques of lowering our EFC that we would normally not have known about. By lowering our EFC we have saved our family 10’s of thousands of dollars in college funding. The tools that our son used helped him to settle in on his chosen career, driving his desired major, and deriving a list of colleges that met all the desired attributes of the perfect college for him.
